Before you memorize this ABC list, I encourage you to begin with the basics if you do not already know them. They are linked here!

Since there are 26 letters in the alphabet and 52 weeks in a year, that gives you two weeks per letter (26 letters x 2 weeks = 52 weeks)! So I encourage you to take two weeks to memorize each verse. The next year can be used to refresh yourself or to memorize more of the Bible passage. Have kids start out with half the verse or just the first verse. Adults can begin with memorizing the whole passage or the first two verses.

So, here all my choices for Bible Memory Verses that align with the Alphabet!

My prayer is that the Word of God will dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16) and that this will propel you to meditate on Scripture as an adult or as a family. I’m hoping to create a pdf booklet of why I chose these Bible verses over others, different tiers for age abilities, memorization challenges, as well as the significance of these passages as a short devotional. If that happens I will link it here.

Challenge: I encourage you to create your own list! You might prioritize certain verses more than I do, so add your custom touch and begin memorizing Scripture!

Blessings! Zachary Wiley
