We all know that memorization requires consistency in order to transfer the words from page to brain. Truthfully, it can be hard work! Bible memorization can easily turn from a joy into a drudgery. But what if I told you that you could memorize Scripture without even thinking about it? I feel like I have found the Bible memorization wild card and I want to share it with you!
The Corner Room! This music artist takes Scripture (word for word in the ESV translation) and tastefully puts it to music. This becomes a Bible memorization hack because you begin internalizing Scripture without even knowing it. Bible Passages include some Psalms, quotations of Jesus, and other key verses.
Adam Wright, the guy behind the music, states on his website: “These songs are intended to help God’s people know and treasure His Word more deeply.” What an amazing vision!
Are there other Scripture music artists out there? Of course. But with Wright’s cool, folky vibe, this is hands down some of the best Scripture verbatim music I have ever listened to. It’s the type of music that you would find me listening to normally. I find myself edified and refreshed as I learn Scripture.
