Hello, I’m Zachary Wiley and this is a little about myself…

Testimony: Raised by Christian parents, I was introduced to Christianity at a young age. Even though I knew the truths of Scripture, answering all the questions in Sunday School, there was a disconnect in how it applied to me. I considered myself a good person based on my own merit, checking off the boxes, fulfilling the expectations of my parents and pastors. I then caught wind of my sinfulness, but my “solution” at that point was not to take it to the cross, it was to work harder, trying to earn God’s favor. This led to doubt and cycles of sin. It wasn’t until later on that I realized I was trapped in the bondage of legalism. The only true solution was trusting in Jesus Christ alone for my salvation. I then believed in His atoning work on the cross: that Jesus paid the penalty for my sin in my place and that He rose again. This process included repenting of my sin, especially repenting of my attempts to earn righteousness (a right standing before God). This replaced my doubt with assurance, knowing that my salvation was not dependent upon me and my works, but a gift of God’s grace which Christ secured on my behalf (Eph. 2:8-9).

Now: My walk with Christ has led me to study at Calvary Chapel Bible College & Calvary Chapel University, live 3 months in Israel, and teach in a Christian private school. I am passionate about discipleship, equipping the saints (Eph. 4:12) to walk in a manner which is worthy of the calling they have received (Eph. 4:1). I want to use this platform to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a message which I am unashamed, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes (Rom. 1:16-17). This message is truly transformational and calls us to live and to be drastically different than the secular culture which surrounds us. So join me on this caravan🐪 of being TRANSFORMED by the truth and NOT being CONFORMED to the culture (Rom. 12:1-2).
